Project Description:
The Bijou Area Erosion Control project is intended to benefit the clarity of Lake Tahoe by treating storm water at one of the highest polluting outfalls to the lake. Storm water from the cities right of way, Caltrans right of way, and private property within the Bijou Center will be collected in a series of large underground vaults to remove sediment before pumped through a storm drain force main to water quality treatment basins in the US Forest Service.

Everyone I’ve talked with at Preston Pipelines has been courteous and efficient in dealing with construction issues. Thank you for exceeding my expectation!
