Preston Pipelines has one of the most experienced teams of estimators in the underground construction industry. Situated on the second floor of the new 18,000 square office building, the estimating team is the catalyst for acquiring bid work. From concept to final installation, the job is thoroughly analyzed for design, constructability, and material costs. Once the estimate is complete and prepared for submittal, the bid is reviewed for cost effectivenss by the estimating team.

From the ground floor, the operations department swings into action after the job is awarded to Preston Pipelines. With highly competent project managers and a team of project engineers with qualified administrative assistants, the work is studied and planned to completion. The job is assigned to one of the project managers who reviews the job, along with a foreman who will lead his crew to complete the assigned project. Area superintendents monitor all projects as well as employee training and maintenance of Preston Pipelines core values of Safety, Quality, and Customer Satisfaction.

During completion of the underground work, the accounting department works with the Preston Pipelines project manager to adapt the extra work orders and quotes into the project and progressively bill the customer. Once all work is complete, the accounting department works hand-in-hand with each customer to come to a creative and satisfactory restitution for all work performed.

First line, state-of-the-art equipment is used by Preston Pipelines crews for all phases of the underground installation. Each crew is equipped with the latest technology and equipment to get the job completed as designed. With experienced foremen, pipelayers, laborers, and operators, the project will be completed as bid.

Preston Pipelines has a state of the art maintenance facility with first line equipment to keep the breakdowns to a minimum. Once the job begins, the equipment is maintained on-the-job-site to ensure minimal down time. Our service trucks are dispatched to jobs daily for maintenance of the equipment.
