It’s not often that I have an opportunity to work with a crew that performs at the level that your crew did on our Arcadia Park Community in Oakland. This project changed dramatically from the original plan and as result we had to unwind the work that was previously completed and install through and around utilities that normally would not have been there.

Tim Davis led a crew on a project that at best was challenging. His forward planning avoided many potential delays and he fostered a true ‘team’ atmosphere on the jobsite. To the point where he even had EBMUD joining the fun. His management of the crew reminded me of some of the better football coaches I had and they responded in a consistently positive manner. All of the team worked to insure that not only were all of the utilities installed in a professional manner but that the site was kept clean and safe, impact to homeowners was kept to a minimum and that the other trades (both construction and land) were able to proceed with their work with as little impact as possible. I would not hesitate to have any of these men on another Pulte project.

Mike,

I just wanted to take a minute to let you know what a fantastic job your guys did out here at Bellarmine getting the storm and fire in over the little spring break period that we had. It was an extremely difficult job in a very short period of time. There were also plan issues and a million unforeseen items. Tim Davis, Brad, and Andreas did an unbelievable job out here. They absolutely killed themselves the entire nine days! They conducted themselves as the utmost professionals the entire time. Clean up, traffic control everything went the way it should have or actually better in my opinion.

I know that most of the time you only hear about things that go wrong, but it is important to me to give you some positive feedback. No one else could have come close to doing what you guys did out here and you should be extremely proud of these guys. I am sure glad you are on our side because you made something almost impossible seem so easy. I hope this finds you and your family well.

Sincerely,

Mark Ingram

To Whom This May Concern:

I am writing this letter on behalf of the DPR Make Ready Project Team. With the completion of the LPCH Make Ready project quickly approaching, we wanted to recognize Nate Thornberry for his dependability and excellent performance as the General Foreman for Preston Pipelines. Despite the complexities we faced out here, all of the utilities have now been rerouted and LPCH has a fully operational storm and sewer lift station thanks in large part to Nate’s dedication to the project.

Nate demonstrated commitment not only in the quality of work he produced, but flexibility and efficiency. Whenever there was a question, Nate was the go-to-guy and was always able to provide an answer. If he didn’t know, he would find out. His communication skills also made him valuable to this team because he explained things thoroughly ensuring that all parties understood.

In addition to great workmanship and reliability, Nate was personable and enjoyable to be around. He was professional and courteous to the crews he was responsible for and to the DPR Team. Nate is an invaluable asset to any construction team. I hope I get the opportunity to work with Nate on any of my future projects.

Respectfully yours,

John Bloomfield

Dear Sirs:

Preston Pipelines is currently working on a pipeline and pumping plant project for the Semitropic Water Storage District that is progressing satisfactorily. The quality of Preston’s work is good, and both their field and management personnel have been responsive on all matters. A major challenge of the project was the requirement to complete a significant portion of the pipeline installation work by August 1, 208, which Preston met. Accordingly, the Semitropic Water Storage District would recommend that Preston Pipelines be considered for projects of similar nature.

Sincerely,

Paul Oshel

District Engineer
